Model Con Terms and Conditions

"ModelCon", "We", "Us," or "Our"). By purchasing a ticket or attending ModelCon, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree, do not purchase a ticket or attend the event.

T I C K E T A N D B A D G E R E Q U I R E M E N T S

To enter any live area of ModelCon, each individual must have their own valid ticket and badge

(collectively referred to as "badge"). One badge is required per attendee and is only valid on the day or days and in the areas indicated on that badge. Entry is not permitted without a valid badge. No exceptions will be made, including for infants, lap children, or individuals who claim to be accompanying another ticketed attendee. Each badge level (General Admission, VIP, and Diamond) grants access to the specific areas and experiences designated for that level. A badge does not guarantee access to areas designated for a higher level unless that access is expressly included in the badge purchased. To gain entry, you must have a valid badge issued for ModelCon. Badges are evidence of your registration and ticket level and must be worn and visible at all times while on the event venue premises. If you lose your badge, please visit the registration desk at the venue. Replacement badges will be issued for a fee of $50.00 USD. No exceptions. In first-come, first-served general seating areas, seat saving is not permitted and you are not guaranteed the same seat after a break or for the remainder of the event. We advise attendees who want seating to arrive early and wait for the doors to open.

A G E P O L I C Y A N D M I N O R AT T E N D E E S

ModelCon is open to attendees who are at least fifteen (15) years of age on the day of the event. Attendees who are between the ages of 15 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while on the ModelCon venue premises. No minor may attend without a parent or guardian present. Parents and guardians accompanying a minor must purchase their own valid badge at a minimum General Admission level. A parent or guardian holding a General Admission badge may accompany their minor child into any area of the event regardless of the ticket level purchased for the minor, including VIP and Diamond areas, for the sole purpose of parental supervision. The parent or guardian is permitted in those areas in their capacity as a responsible adult accompanying a minor, not as a ticketed guest of that level, and may not participate in level-specific experiences beyond what is necessary for supervision. This policy exists to ensure minors are properly supervised and is not an upgrade pathway. Attendees under the age of 15 are not permitted entry under any circumstances and will be denied access even if accompanied by a parent or guardian with a valid Ticket. Babies, infants, and lap children are not permitted. Portable car seats, strollers, and diaper bags are not permitted in ModelCon or live event areas. No exceptions will be made. ModelCon contains content, performances, speakers, and entertainment designed for a mature audience, including mature themes related to the modeling and entertainment industries. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for determining whether ModelCon is appropriate for their minor child and for supervising that child throughout the event.

ModelCon is held at a private venue, and We and the venue reserve the right to refuse entry to any person or item if We believe it is in the best interest of the safety and health of other attendees. You and your belongings may be searched upon entry. By purchasing a Ticket or attempting to enter ModelCon, you consent to such searches. If you do not consent, you may be denied entry without refund or compensation. Bags must not exceed 8 inches by 4 inches by 8 inches. Firearms, alcohol, controlled substances, unauthorized audio or video recording devices, laser pointers, artificial noisemakers, and any other items deemed prohibited by the venue or by Us are not permitted on the premises. Please be advised that ModelCon may include segments that utilize strobing effects, flashing lights, and other lighting effects. Attendees who are sensitive to light or who have conditions triggered by light stimulation including photosensitive epilepsy should take note of this advisory before attending.

S E R V I C E A N I M A L S

No animals are permitted on the ModelCon venue premises with the exception of registered service animals as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). A service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to perform tasks or do work for the benefit of a person with a disability, where the task or work is directly related to that person's disability. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy animals do not meet this definition under the ADA or California law and are not permitted at ModelCon.

P R O O F O F I D E N T I T Y

You must present one of the following valid, government-issued forms of photo identification to enter ModelCon. No exceptions will be made, even if you are accompanied by an adult with valid identification. Failure to provide valid identification will preclude you from entering and you shall not be entitled to any refund or compensation. You may also be asked to present identification during the event by a member of the ModelCon team or venue security, and failure to do so may result in ejection without refund. Acceptable identification includes a government-issued passport with photo, a government-issued driver's license with photo from the United States or Canada, a military identification card with photo, or a government-issued identification card with photo. No other forms of identification will be accepted. The name on your identification must match the name on your Ticket exactly.

ModelCon does not guarantee that attendance will result in any specific career outcomes,

bookings, representation, income, or other personal or professional results. Information provided by ModelCon speakers, presenters, and exhibitors is shared for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, professional, or career advice. Any outcomes described by speakers or presenters reflect their own individual experiences and are not to be interpreted as typical, common, or expected results. Attendees use any information obtained at ModelCon at their own risk and are solely responsible for any decisions or actions that result from their attendance.

R E F U N D P O L I C Y

There are no refunds on ModelCon badge purchases. All badge sales are final. No exceptions will be made under any circumstances, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, travel disruptions, personal emergencies, or dissatisfaction with the event. By purchasing a badge, you acknowledge and accept this policy in full. All badges are subject to availability. Receipt of a purchase confirmation does not guarantee a reserved seat if an event is sold out or if a venue subsequently limits its capacity. In such instances, We reserve the right, in Our sole discretion, to roll your ticket over to the next scheduled ModelCon event or to issue a store credit. If the next event is also sold out or near capacity, a store credit will be issued instead. The decision will be made at Our sole discretion based on availability and the type of ticket purchased. The date, location, and venue of ModelCon are subject to change at any time. ModelCon is not responsible for any airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation costs, or other expenses incurred by attendees in connection with attendance. If any ModelCon live event is postponed due to a supervening event beyond Our reasonable control, including acts of God, government orders, natural disasters, public health emergencies, or other events of force majeure, tickets purchased for that event will be rolled over to the next available date. If the event cannot be rescheduled within one hundred eighty (180) days, a store credit will be issued for the amount of the original badge purchase. If you do not attend ModelCon and do not contact Us prior to the event, your badge is forfeited. We will not issue store credits for no-shows, as the opportunity to resell that seat was lost. All badge purchases, including complimentary badges, bundled badges, and promotional badges, are subject to these terms and are subject to cancellation, forfeiture, or rollover at Our sole discretion.

T H I R D - PA R T Y PAY M E N T S E R V I C E S

If you have chosen to finance your ModelCon badge purchase through a third-party payment

services such as Klarna, Afterpay, or any similar buy-now-pay-later platform, please be advised that your agreement with that third-party provider is entirely separate from and independent of your agreement with ModelCon. ModelCon receives payment in full at the time of purchase and is not a party to any financing arrangement between you and a third-party provider. Any payment disputes, missed installments, or account issues with those platforms are solely between you and that provider. Regardless of any payment arrangement you have with a third party, ModelCon's no-refund policy applies without exception. Your obligation to that third-party provider remains your sole responsibility.

T I C K E T T R A N S F E R S A N D R E S A L E

Tickets are non-transferable without written notification to ModelCon. To transfer a badge to

another person, you must submit a written request to [email protected]. At the event, all ticket holders must present valid government-issued identification matching the name on the badge. Unauthorized resale or attempted resale of any ModelCon badge is grounds for cancellation of that badge without refund. Any counterfeit or altered tickets will be seized without compensation and entry will be denied. Badges may not be used for unauthorized advertising, promotions, contests, or sweepstakes. Any bulk purchase of five or more tickets is not permitted for resale. The names of all attendees for whom bulk tickets were purchased must be submitted in writing to ModelCon no later than ninety (90) days prior to the event. Failure to do so may result in ticket revocation and the issuance of a one-time store credit at Our discretion.

AT T E N D E E C O N D U C T A N D E J E C T I O N P O L I C Y

ModelCon reserves the right to refuse admission to or eject any person whose conduct We or the venue deem to be disorderly, disruptive, harassing, threatening, or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit and purpose of the event. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of profane, vulgar, or abusive language, failure to comply with venue rules or ModelCon policies, harassment of other attendees, speakers, models, or staff, and any conduct that creates an unsafe or unwelcoming environment for others. Ejected attendees shall not receive a refund and ModelCon shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential expenses incurred.

ModelCon celebrates models, creatives, and industry professionals from all backgrounds and at all stages of their careers. Conduct that demeans, belittles, or discriminates against any attendee on any basis will not be tolerated and may result in immediate and permanent removal from the event and from future ModelCon events.

P H O T O G R A P H Y V I D E O A N D A U D I O R E C O R D I N G

Personal photography is generally permitted in public common areas of ModelCon. However, unauthorized video recording, audio recording, or live streaming of any ModelCon session, presentation, panel, runway segment, or workshop is strictly prohibited. This policy exists to protect the proprietary content of ModelCon, its speakers, and its presenters, as well as to respect the privacy of attendees who have not consented to being featured in recordings distributed publicly. Professional video, photography, or audio equipment is not permitted on premises without prior written authorization from ModelCon. Any attendee found recording sessions or live streaming without authorization may be escorted from the venue without reentry and their ticket will be deemed forfeited without refund. Members of the press or media who wish to attend ModelCon must submit credentials and a request for press access in writing to [email protected] prior to the event. Approved press must wear their press badge at all times and must comply with all ModelCon and venue policies regarding what may be recorded and published. ModelCon reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deny press access to any individual or outlet for any reason.

P U B L I C I T Y R E L E A S E

ModelCon is a public event held in public or semi-public venue spaces. By purchasing a ticket to

or attending ModelCon, you acknowledge that your appearance, likeness, statements, and actions inside and outside the venue are public in nature and that you have no expectation of privacy with respect to your conduct at the event. You hereby irrevocably grant ModelCon and Christopher Pollard, as well as ModelCon's affiliates, partners, assigns, licensees, and designees, the right to photograph, film, record, and otherwise capture your name, image, likeness, voice, acts, movements, and statements, whether before, during, or after the event, and to use such content in any and all media now known or hereafter developed for any purpose, including but not limited to advertising, promotional materials, social media, future event marketing, and editorial content, without further authorization from or compensation to you. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product in which your likeness appears and waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from such use. You hereby release ModelCon and Christopher Pollard and their respective affiliates from all claims, demands, and causes of action arising from such use. If you do not wish to appear in ModelCon content, you must notify Us in writing at joinmodelcon@gmail com prior to the event We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request but cannot guarantee that your likeness will not appear incidentally in wide-angle or crowd photography.

N O S O L I C I TAT I O N P O L I C Y

ModelCon has a strict no-solicitation policy covering all live events, sessions, workshops, and associated activities. While We encourage networking and connection among attendees, unauthorized solicitation undermines the experience for everyone present and will not be

tolerated. Prohibited activities include unauthorized recruitment of models, talent, or attendees on behalf of any agency, brand, or individual not officially affiliated with ModelCon; unauthorized distribution of printed materials, flyers, business cards beyond ordinary personal networking, digital materials,invitations, or promotional items; unauthorized photography or video of attendees for casting or recruitment purposes without that individual's expressed consent; unauthorized promotion of non-ModelCon events, services, products, or brands; the unauthorized establishment of social media groups, chat groups, or online communities claiming affiliation with ModelCon; and any form of unwelcome advances toward other attendees, speakers, models, or staff. Any person found violating this policy will be expelled from the event without refund and may be subject to legal action. Expelled attendees may be banned from future ModelCon events at Our sole discretion. Please be aware that from time to time, individuals may misrepresent themselves as ModelCon staff or affiliates in order to approach or solicit attendees. Official ModelCon team members will always be identifiable by their staff badge. If you are approached by someone claiming to represent ModelCon and they are not wearing a staff badge, please verify their identity with a visible staff member before sharing any personal information, making any purchase, or entering into any agreement.

H E A LT H A N D S A F E T Y

The health and safety of ModelCon attendees, staff, speakers, and models is a priority. ModelCon will comply with all applicable state and local health guidelines in effect at the time of the event. We reserve the right to implement health screening, entry requirements, or safety protocols as directed by California state health authorities or the event venue, including but not limited to temperature checks, health attestations, or face covering requirements. Failure to comply with any such requirements may result in denial of entry or ejection without refund. We discourage attendance by anyone who has been exposed to a contagious illness or who is

experiencing symptoms of illness in the days leading up to the event. By attending ModelCon, you voluntarily assume the inherent risk of exposure to communicable illness in any large public gathering and agree to hold ModelCon and Christopher Pollard harmless from any claims arising from such exposure.

I N T E R N AT I O N A L AT T E N D E E S

ModelCon is not able to provide international attendees with invitation letters, visa support letters, or any other immigration documentation to assist in obtaining a visa to travel to the United States. We advise international purchasers to secure any necessary travel authorization prior to purchasing a ticket. If you are unable to obtain travel authorization, ModelCon's no-refund policy applies and no exception will be made.

L I M I TAT I O N O F L I A B I L I T Y

By attending ModelCon, you agree to hold harmless, release, and forever discharge ModelCon, Christopher Pollard, and all affiliates, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives from all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, and causes of action of any kind arising out of or related to your attendance, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, theft, loss of personal belongings, or any actions of other attendees. ModelCon shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages of any kind. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions or your attendance at ModelCon shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of California under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The jurisdiction for all claims is the State of California.

COMMUNICATIONS AND PRIVACY

By purchasing a badge to ModelCon, or signing up for any waitlist, promo, deals, or other information you agree to receive transactional communications from Us related to your purchase, including order confirmations, payment receipts, badge delivery information, event reminders, venue and schedule updates, and other communications directly related to your attendance. These transactional communications are a necessary part of the event experience and are not subject to opt-out. In addition to transactional communications, you agree to receive marketing and promotional communications from ModelCon by email and by text message (SMS), including but not limited to announcements about upcoming events, early access ticket offers, Model Society product releases, Walk Club updates, exclusive promotions, and other news related to the ModelCon community. Message and data rates may apply for text message communications. Message frequency will vary.

ModelCon does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information, including your name, email address, or phone number, with any third party for that party's own marketing purposes. Your information is used solely by ModelCon and its direct operating partners to facilitate your event experience and to communicate with you as described in these Terms and Conditions. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. To stop receiving marketing emails, click the unsubscribe link included at the bottom of any marketing email. To stop receiving marketing text messages, reply STOP to any text message you receive from Us. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional communications related to a ticket you have already purchased. These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time prior to the event. If material changes are made, We will notify ticket holders via the email address provided at the time of purchase. Continued possession of a valid badge following notification of any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
